The PEI Photography Club held its annual Photo Show from May 18th - May 31st at The Guild in downtown Charlottetown. Thank you to all those that participated in the show and to all of those who attetnded the gallery. The show was open for two weeks, and during that time we had well over 300 visitors and over 300 photo entries from our members. The PEI Photo Club would like to say a special thank you to the following sponsors; Heckbert Studios, A&S Scrap Metal, MacPhearsons Hair Design, CGI, PEI Upholstery, Sobeys - University Avenue, PEI Photo Labs, PEI Bag Company and Callbecks. The 2009 Photo Exhibit is shaping up to be just as successful and just as fun. Entries for the exhibit are restricted to club members only. Asleep - this category will include anything sleeping - it may include humans, animals, buds .. use your imagination. Architecture/Engineering - Buildings, bridges, statues, etc. Let's see what you can find. Cemeteries - This interesting category should prove to be very entertaining .. to those who dare .. [insert creepy music here] Sound - We all know how to make and look at a photograph, but do we know how to make it speak or sing to us? This category may prove to be a serious challenge and is not for the faint of heart. Patterns - Always a favourite. Fill those frames people! Transportation - With gas prices so high, some folk are getting very creative with their transportaion mode. See what you can find; be it cars or bicycles, old or new, we wanna see 'em. Triplets - Anything in 3's that are the same or similar. All three "triplets" must be in the same photo. Photographer's Choice - this category is open with no particular or specific themes in place.
